About Scheme
The Department of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of Haryana, has been functioning as the State Designated Agency (SDA) to coordinate, regulate and enforce provisions of the Energy Conservation Act 2001 within the State. The organization works as a facilitator for the promotion and implementation of various Energy Conservation activities as mandated under the Energy Conservation Act 2001 in the state, by coordinating with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Central Govt., State Govt., private organizations and other stake holders. The State Govt. has also set up Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) for effective implementation of various schemes related to Renewable Energy and Energy conservation. The activities include smooth implementation of Perform Achieve and Trade scheme (PAT), Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC), Energy Audit and its implementation, S&L, Awareness programmes, eMobility, etc.
