No.22/52/05-5Power:- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following amendment in the Haryana Government, Renewable Energy Department, Order No.22/52/05-5P, dated the 29th July, 2005, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the Haryana Government, Renewable Energy Department, Order No. No.22/52/05-5P, dated the 29th July, 2005, for para 3, the following para shall be substituted, namely:

• Mandatory use of BEE star rated pumpsets (with minimum 4 star rating) as labeled by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India and ISI marked Power capacitor, Foot/Reflex valves in Agriculture sector.

1. For all new tubewell connections, the use of BEE star rated pumpsets (with minimum 4 star rating) and ISI marked accessories shall be mandatory.
2. Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam/Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam shall ake amendments in the load demand notices for tubewell connections within two months time from the date of issue of this order to ensure use of minimum 4 star rated pumpsets in the State.”
