GCRT solar power plants in scheduled caste and Backward classes Dharmshalas
To meet the energy requirement of Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes Dharmshalas with solar energy this scheme has been formulated.
Under the scheme, GCRT solar power plants will be installed on 75% State financial assistance basis and the balance 25% of the project cost is to be borne by the beneficiary Dharmshala.
Grid Connected Roof Top (GCRT) Solar Power Plants (with/without battery bank under CAPEX mode) of capacity upto 5 kW or sanctioned load whichever is lower, shall be allowed under the scheme.
A maximum of 1.0 MW capacity Grid Connected Roof Top (GCRT) Solar Power Plants (with/without battery bank under CAPEX mode) shall be installed annually under the scheme on “First Come First Serve” basis.
